Customer Service Representative

We’re excited to welcome a friendly, reliable, caring, experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR)  to join our team at K.Vet Animal Care in Greensburg, PA.
This position requires an individual with great interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will support the hospital’s vision and mission while working closely with practice leadership, doctors, technicians, other CSRs, and clients to coordinate patient care in an exciting small animal practice. You will work under the direct guidance of the Lead CSR, Practice Manager, and Medical Director.
We offer the best of both worlds when it comes to medicine, marrying both the Western medicine concept, as well as Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine for a well-rounded holistic approach. As a Customer Service Representative, you will . . .
  • Participate in staff meetings and provide relevant input.
  • Solve problems independently and display excellent judgment
  • Maintain positive morale and team atmosphere.
  • Schedule appointments, process financial transactions, field phone calls and emails
  • Communicate with and educate owners in person, by telephone, or email under the direction of the veterinary and technical staff.
  • Greet clients with a warm smile in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
  • Maintain knowledge of preventative healthcare recommendations in order to answer client questions; provide education on vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm products; and assist in marketing veterinary services from which their pet would benefit such as a dental cleaning, senior wellness, and spay and neuter.
  • Clean and maintain front office environment and assist with minor outdoor upkeep (picking up litter, changing poop station bag, salting sidewalks)
  • Work well with all team members and ensure that your actions support the hospital, the doctors, and the practice philosophy.
