Tinkerbell has injured her stifle (knee), and she's seeing us for Rehab appointments.
You probably know Tinkerbell's person, April, as a key member of our front desk team. Of course, like most of us at KVet, April has fur babies too.
After Tinkerbell came up suddenly lame on her right rear leg, she came to see Dr. Hill and Dr. Halden for assessment. We found that she had sprained the ligaments that stabilize the stifle (knee). She had sprains to her cranial and caudal cruciate ligaments in her right stifle (analogous to the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments in a person's knee).
We are using specialized neurological techniques to strengthen the injured joint, massage and Rehab to support the area, and laser to facilitate the best healing possible.
Stacey is happy to be the technician helping Tinkerbell recover at her Rehab visits.
April is happy that we can give her girl the care that she needs.
